goZoom's Line of Site (LOS) technology requires that the subscriber have an unobstructed view of the tower. Obstructions may disrupt connectivity and may cause random loss of connection or random periods of high latency.. The LOS signal cannot penetrate foliage due to it's very high frequency.
goZoom's Non Line of Site (NLOS) technology uses a lower frequency than the LOS gear. Lower frequencies penetrate foliage much better than LOS frequencies, but nothing goes through hills so there must still be a theoretical 'Line of Sight' to the destination. Proper installation of NLOS requires significant experience and knowledge of radio propagation.
There are several other parameters that make a stable wireless connection which our installers are always looking out for. If your location doesn't qualify for a stable connection we won't install.
goZoom's Commercial Fixed Wireless service leverages our Licenced Fixed Wireless technology to deliver Symmetrical Internet access at up to 20 Mbps!
goZoom Fixed Wireless is not Satellite Internet.
Satellite Internet is typically slow, unreliable and expensive. At goZoom we have no interest in providing our customers with such poor quality just for the sake of making a Sale. Not All providers feel that way. If you Choose Satellite Internet PLEASE be aware that Dialup is sometimes faster, almost always more reliable, and definitely less expensive.
