Why can't I send Email?

Solution In order to SEND email you must have SMTP Authentication enabled. Instructions to enable SMTP authentication are included in ALL goZoom Email Account information emails (the email that you recieved with your email account information).

If you no longer have access to the Account Information email you can enable SMTP Authentication in Microsoft Outlook Express by doing the following:

Click Tools ->Accounts
Choose the Account that you want to Modify and Click "Properties"
Click on the "Servers" tab
At the bottom of this page there is a check box that indicates "My Server requires authentication" - Ensure that there IS a check mark in that box, and click the "Settings" button to the Right.
On the "Outgoing Mail Server" page that appears, ensure that there is a dot beside "Use same settings as my Incoming Server"
Click OK > OK > Close

Send yourself an email to test that the account can now Send and Receive.

For email programs other than MS Outlooks, please consult the email account information that was emailed to you to enable SMTP Authentication
